More of the back story behind my grid work journey. In January 2018 prior to arriving on Hawaii island I spent three weeks in Peru. On one of the day/evenings I was with a small group that spent time with Quechua peoples and staying overnight on an island made of reed that floats on Lake Titicaca between Bolivia and Peru known as the floating islands of Uros. Each tiny island is sovereign. These spaces are very primitive with no modern electricity or plumbing. Unbeknownst to us during our overnight stay on this island there was a magnitude 7.1 earthquake. We slept sound without feeling a thing!
The next day we visited the Island of Amantani, also on Lake Titicaca and I visited both the Pachamama and Pachatata Temples.
Lake Titicaca is known for two major ley lines representing both the masculine and the feminine they are described as the Rainbow Serpent and the Dragon Serpent.
A big theme among those of our time on earth is creating balance between the feminine and the masculine. This theme is also woven into my adventures on Hawaii Island and was an integral part of an offering made at Kilauea summit in March of 2018 following my visit to Peru.
It has been made very clear to me that we are not transitioning from patriarchy to matriarchy, but rather aiming for balance between the two.
