Live in the eye of the storm.

How are you? There’s a lot happening. Intuitively, Spirit has been guiding us toward these days. In my perception ALL people are empathic and sensitive, it’s just that not all people are consciously aware of how they are being impacted by external energies and view everything mostly as an individual experience in relation to their emotional landscape versus the understanding that they are also affected by collective happenings.. It is important to hold compassion for others. It is also important to recognize what is present in your immediate environment and what you have access to that is within your control.

If we do not take the time to separate what’s ours and what isn’t, we can get swept away in a sea of chaos in which we are continually grasping at weak branches, and gliding over slippery rock, in an attempt to find solid ground.

Stop. Take a breath. Look around. What is right in front of you in this moment. What do you have agency over, what action can you take with what is within your physical reach. Small steps forward, are steps forward, rather than collapsing into the energy of helplessness and hopelessness, or lunging forward into everything out of desperation. You cannot stop the wheels that are already in motion, but you can address the micro, your micro, within the macro.

What practices and tools do you have or lean into that create a sense of safety, calm, balance, and centeredness? Please do not confuse this with denial, or bypassing. Feel what you feel, use that energy to create movement, or fuel inspired action. Every micro movement, contributes to the macro. We’re all in it. We can’t move it if we’re swimming in the sea of chaos.

Like the eagle, or the wise old owl, we must take time to watch, observe, and know when to swoop in, and when to perch safely at the top of the tree, otherwise we exhaust ourselves with fruitless effort.
